Public warnings in case of emergencies
When an accident, crisis or disaster occurs, you can find information in a number of places.
If an emergency occurs, you can find information through the news media and the social media platforms of e.g. the Danish Emergency Management Agency and the police.
In some cases, you will hear the sound of the warning sirens or you will be warned via your mobile phone on S!RENEN.
If warned by S!RENEN on your phone, STOP, READ and REACT according to the information on your screen.
The sirens do not offer guidance, so when you hear them, go inside and find information through DR or TV 2.
When the danger has passed, the sirens will sound again to let you know.

Yearly test
We test the sirens and S!RENEN
On the first wednesday of may at noon the authorities in Denmark will test the sirens and S!RENEN. Download infographics about the test in Danish, English, German, French, Arabic, Bosnic, Farsi, Turkish, Urdu, Ukranian and Russian.
