DEMA collects statistics on the operations of the Danish national and municipal fire and rescue services. The various statistics provide means to uncover trends in turnouts etc., and are used for initiating prevention measures and supporting Danish municipalities in their risk-based dimensioning of the fire and rescue services.
DEMA participates in the international exchange of fire statistics data, e.g. via Nordstat, the EU and the World Fire Statistics Centre.
