Activities during Denmark’s EU Presidency in 2012

CBRN police conference

14-16 May 2012, the Danish National Police – assisted by DEMA and Europol – hostet a conference on CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear materials). The aim of the conference was to create a cross-border police network. The conference was held in Copenhagen.

EU-US seminar on protection of critical infrastructure

DEMA assisted the European Commission with the planning and execution of an EU-US meeting of experts on the protection of critical infrastructure. The meeting was held in Brussels at the end of May 2012.

Directors-General meeting on civil protection

11-13 June 2012, DEMA is hosting the European Commission’s half-yearly meeting with the General Directors of the countries that participate in the EU Civil Protection Mechanism. The meeting of Directors-General is held in Copenhagen.
